One of the few wildlife parks that offer free entry to visitors, the Langenberg Wildlife Park in Zurich is home to many native animals like the deer, mountain goats, wolves, boar, elk, lynxes, and wildcats. One section of the park is a zoo where at least 16 types of animals reside, while the other half is a dense forest, named the Sihlwald Forest.
This forest is a natural reserve comprising beach trees that are up to 250 years old! The lush, dense destination proves to be more of a nature walk than a usual zoo. Apart from it all is a huge playground offering zipline, swings, water slides, a spacious picnic area, and a restaurant serving up local delights. For a fun day outdoors with friends and family, this is a must-visit!
