Reach plateau in morning, mesmerize with the beautiful diversity of flowers here.

    Trip to Kaas plateau enables you to enjoy stunning panoramic vivid views of the valley from the top of the plateau. After a replenishing dose of nature, begin your downward trail. Reach base and dig into a filling-meal. Post lunch, begin your trek to Kenjalgad and explore the awe-inspiring ancient beauty of this fort. Reach base village at around 04:00PM, relax for a while!

    Kaas Pathar is a plateau of flowers located 30 km away from Satara which is also known as the Valley of Flowers in Maharashtra. Recently, this site was declared as a world heritage site due to excellent biodiversity present over here. Apart from numerous varieties of wild flowers (some of which are endemic to Kaaspathar only) this biodiversity site also shelters many insects, beautiful birds, amphibians, reptiles and some major mammalian species.     • Declared as a world heritage site, this little piece of paradise has more than 850 varieties of blooms that fill up the plateau every year between the months of July and October. 
    • Most of these flowers are endemic to Kaas plateau making it one of the hubs of insects, birds, amphibians and reptiles as well as some unique mammals. 
    • The tour begins as you are whisked away from the Dadar and Tahne stations in Mumbai at 11.30 PM for an overnight journey towards Kaas.
