A world heritage site, it rests on left bank of the Malaprabha River. This historic place was once the capital of the Chalukya dynasty. Between the 7th and 9th century, there were many places of worship that were constructed here.
You will also be visiting Aihole that houses a temple compound displaying stunning Chalukyan architecture. There are several temples here that date back to 5th century CE.
Lastly, you will get to witness the charms of Badami temples. A trove for historians, it was a regal capital of the Badami Chalukyas from 540 to 757 AD and displays stunning stone architecture.
