Dandeli is a rendezvous with tranquility. With undulating streams, diverse wildlife, and innumerable trekking trails, it is a dream adventure destination. On the banks of River Kali lies the Dandeli Anshi Tiger Reserve, home to tigers, depleting species of Black Panther, and species of rare birds such as hornbills. On this overnight outdoor camping experience, partake in photography activity, conservation initiatives, and trek to the far corners of the reserve.
On day 1 arrive at Kadumane base camp around 8:30am. After a scrumptious breakfast in the wilderness, attend a class on conservation initiatives. A photography event leads into lunch break around 1pm. Afternoon hours are spent meandering through the semi evergreen forests and backwater boating. Retire for the night in tents, enjoy bonfire, and choose to go on a short night stroll to the reserve boundary.
Day 2 after breakfast around 8am, leave for rafting in River Kali. Return to base camp for lunch. A short 4km trek to Huligudda Hill along the reserve periphery marks the end of an exhilarating break.
