About the Activity:
Starting from Mahabalipuram, the tour takes you to a small coastal fishing village where you get to witness the life of a fisherman for around 2 hours. Get involved in the daily routine of the fishermen as you step into their shoes and experience their hospitality.
On your arrival at fishing village, enjoy a welcome drink amidst the warm hospitality of the locals. Post this, attend the briefing session, get geared up with the lifejackets and board the fishing boats. On the way, learn about the tips and tricks involved in fishing in the open sea.
On arrival at the ideal spots, help the fishermen in throwing and pulling their nets. Be a part of the enthralling journey and if luck favours, boast of your catch of the day. After spending around 1 hour in the sea, return to the village and embark on a local tour. Interact with the villagers, know more about their lives, fishing culture and before winding up the tour, you can spend time with the school children. You can also participate in teaching few lessons to these children.
