Dewy Wayanad is known for its unbridled stretch of tea gardens. The endless expanse of tea plantation covered in this tour sprawls across the state boundaries and leads up to the Nilgiris in Tamil Nadu.
This guided experience of around 7 hours begins at around 9.30am in the morning from Chundale. The cycling extravaganza goes over the sleek tarmac that rises and falls with the surging tea gardens. Pedaling off from the highway, you will drive towards Meppadi, a small town known for its spices.
Post lunch (that can be arranged by us at an additional cost) at around 1pm, you will be able to witness the beauty of a chain of old plantations in the back-country. Also have the opportunity to cross over to Tamil Nadu on your bikes from where you can ride on towards the Nilgiris, the final destination for our trip. The final route of this 50km long trip is predominantly downhill which ends with an exhilarating view of nature. The tour will finish off at a local tea shop where you can devour a steaming cup of tea before heading back to your place of stay.
