Best Time To Visit

Due to the high temperatures during the day, the best time to trek Dragon Crest Mountain is early in the morning until 1 p.m. It's a strenuous hike that takes approximately 1–2 hours one way, so get started as soon as possible to be back when the sun is at its brightest. You'll also avoid crowds because most tours begin with a trek at 9 a.m., bringing a larger number of people to the trail and viewpoint.
