How to reach:

The Beas Kund trek itinerary begins at Manali. From there, you will be transferred to a predecided spot in Solang Valley, which is the starting point of the Beas Kund trek. To reach Manali, you can take the following routes.

By Air: Manali's closest airport is Kullu-Manali Airport, which is also called Bhuntar Airport. It provides easy access to flights from India's main cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata. The average flight time is about 1.5 to 2 hours. The 50-kilometre trip to Manali from the airport can be covered by a cab or bus. This trip usually takes 1.5 to 2 hours.

By Train: The nearest railway station to Manali is the Ambala Cantt railway station. It is well-connected to nearby cities like Delhi, Chandigarh and Amritsar. This station is situated 200 kilometres away from Manali, which can be covered easily via public bus transport in 10 hours. Dauladhar Express, Shan-e-Punjab Express, and Himalayan Queen Express are 3 popular trains that can take you to Ambala Cantt railway station. 

By Road: You can reach Manali via car from nearby cities like Delhi, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Shimla, and others. Also, HRTC (Himachal Road Transport Corporation) buses and deluxe VOLVO buses run regularly on the highways NH-03, and NH-205, to take you to Manali. Day 1
Arrival in Manali | Leisure

Report to the Manali campsite at the designated time and check in to your tents for an overnight stay. The remaining day is at leisure followed by dinner.

Day 2
Trek from Solang Valley to Jaralu Thach

Trekking distance: 8 Km

After breakfast, check out from the Manali campsite and take a local transport at your own expense to reach the pre-decided spot in Solang Valley on time. Begin your trek to Jaralu Thach via Dhundi where camps will be set up for an overnight stay. Walk through the towering green forests to reach the campsite and capture the scenic beauty of the Beas River as you enjoy the dinner.

Know Before You Go for Beas Kund Trek

  • Climatic conditions in the high altitudes vary from the plains; take adequate time to get acclimatized to high altitudes.
