How To Reach



Dolls Museum is situated only 4 km away from the heart of the Pink City. 

So, once you have arrived at Jaipur, then you would have to take a bus and go to the Jawaharlal Nehru bus station. Upon reaching there, you can take a light walk to reach the museum. 

Along with buses, there are also numerous autos and cabs in the city that can take you to the museum.       

Best Time To Visit



As visiting the museum would be an indoor activity, the climate or the environment of the city will not restrict you from getting enthralled in its charm. However, along with the museum, if you also want to relish the city’s pleasing environment, then you can come here during winter.

The season of winter generally arrives here during the month of November and keeps influencing the weather of the city until March.

If you are traveling to the Doll Museum for the first time, then you would have to keep a few things in your mind. Here are some of them. 

Location :  The Dolls Museum is situated in the premises of the world-renowned Albert Hall Museum in Jaipur. In terms of distance, it is located only 4 km away from the center of the Pink City. 

Timings :  The Dolls Museum stays open throughout the whole week, from Monday to Sunday. However, if you want to visit the museum, then you have to come here between 9:00 am - 5:00 pm in the evening. 

Also, make sure to keep in mind that the museum stays closed during the public holidays. So, do your tour planning accordingly.  

Price :  The price, which you have to pay for entering the museum and savor its elegance, generally depends upon the season in which you are visiting.

If you are an Indian, then you would have to pay 10-40 rupees per head. But, for the foreigners, the pricing spikes up to 150-300 rupees. 

Nevertheless, if you are a student or are under 12 years old, then you would only have to pay 5-15 rupees.

The Dolls Museum in Jaipur was built in 1974 by Shrimati Bhagwani Gauridutt Sekhsaria Charitable Trust. However, the museum and its dolls have recently been renovated in the year of 2014 by S.S. Bhandari and a few citizens of Jaipur.
