MAESA ELEPHANT CAMP

If the love is for Asian elephants then the apt place to get close to them is the Maesa Elephant Camp. The camp is by far the largest one in assembly of domestic elephants in the Northern part of Thailand. It also showcases the most entertaining as well as educational elephant show which has managed to enlist itself in Guinness book of Records 2005.

The camp houses nearly 80 elephants which were all employed in timber and logging industries but with modern process they are all now taken care of in these centres for conservation and training. Visitors can enjoy the location playing with the baby elephants, feeding and bathing them and also interacting with the same. The elephants draw excellent pictures which can be purchased here.
