  • Q. What is the difference between the Mount Batur Sunrise Trek and the Batur Caldera Sunrise Trek?

    The Sunrise Treks to Mount Batur and Batur Caldera are the most popular when Trekking in Ubud. The Mount Batur Sunrise Trek takes travellers to the top of the mountain, as well as to the side of its volcanic cone. The trek takes around 2.5 hours in total and is moderately difficult. One can also see various volcanic craters on the trek. Additionally, tourists can also see the crater lake along with Mount Agung and Mount Abang from the summit.

    The Batur Caldera Sunrise Trek, on the other hand, takes tourists to the Caldera ridge, situated above the crater lake, opposite the volcano cone of the mountain.
