The Bali Safari and Marine Park covers approximately 40 hectares of land and is home to over 80 species of animals from Indonesia, Africa, and India. Some of the famous animal species you can find here include spotted deers, nilgai, African hippos, camels, ostriches, lions, blue wildebeests, baboons, black bucks and many more.

Ubud Monkey Forest, Padangtegal, Ubud

If ever visiting Bali, Monkey Forest Ubud is a must visit place for everyone. Home to more than 600 Balinese long-tailed monkeys' also known as Balinese macaques, the Monkey Forest Ubud has three entrances from where you can enter the forest. Apart from monkeys, you will also witness some of the most beautiful Hindu temples inside the forest.

Location: The Monkey Forest Ubud is situated at Jalan Wenara Wana in Ubud.

How to reach: If you are in Ubud, reaching Monkey Forest Ubud is easy. Either you can walk or take a meter taxi. On the other hand, if you are not in Ubud, you can reach Ubud Monkey Forest is by renting a car.

Elephant Safari Park

Bird Village of Petulu

Petulu, around 3.5 km north of Jalan Raya Ubud, is one of the places where you can have the sight of some of the most beautiful and unique birds. Every evening at around 6 PM, you can see thousands of large herons passing through Petulu. According to an old tradition, the villages believe that these herons bring good luck with them.
