Hoa Binh also known as Hoa Binh Dam is used for hydro-electric purposes. Development on the rockfill dam began in November 1979 and it took almost 10 years to finish. The dam is currently one of the biggest and most essential dams in Viet Nam. It is 128m in tallness and 970 m long. Power is created by using eight turbines with a limit of 240 MW, making up the aggregate ability to around 1,920 MW.
Highlights: The yearly power is roughly 8,160 GWh. The repository which was shaped when the Da stream was dammed goes through Hoa Binh's middle. Ideal here 168 specialists kicked the bucket amid the development of the Dam and there is currently a landmark to their memory at the dam site.
