Quan Thanh Temple Overview
The very first thing that you notice in the Quan Thanh Temple is the way the large banyan trees have beautifully shaded the premise. This Taoist Temple is home to the shrine of Tran Vu and as you pass beneath the entrance, you will be transfixed by the towering statue of the deity of North, occupying center stage.

Highlights: It was formerly called the Truth Vu temple that was built to face towards the north. This temple is one of the four sacred temples that were built to protect Hanoi. While the factual proof about when this place of worship was built is missing, some documents give the credit to King Ly Thai.
