The Area Of The White Rhinos
1

The Area Of The White Rhinos

The new white rhino area is a sizable circular enclosure that was created by joining the previously reserved sections for other animal species. The new area has recreated an African savannah environment, with flora primarily from South Africa and closely resembling this species' natural home. To provide the animals the chance to frequently take mud baths, which are crucial for the health of the skin and to control body temperature, a sizable pool of mud is placed inside the enclosure. A significant educational component that emphasizes the most important characteristics of the species, with special reference to eco-ethology, threats, and nature conservation programs, is added to the area.

The Penguin Area Of The Cape

The new habitat for the Cape's penguins extends for about 400 m sq. and is one of the loved areas of the zoo. The secluded and bright atmosphere of South African beaches has been recreated within it, complete with natural peaks and a unique blend of Chiara and native South African plants. In addition to the essential enclosure, the animals have access to a large pool where they may swim and play freely. There are large windows that give spectacular underwater views to the public. The area is filled with interactive installations, relief elements, and static displays. It highlights the most important characteristics of the species, particularly with regard to eco-ethology and nature preservation projects.

The Sumatra Tiger Area

The Sumatra Tiger Area

The newly constructed area of the Sumatran tigers extends by over 1.000 sq.m in total, including internal reclaim areas. This whole expanse is even larger than the original area, which Carl Hagenbeck's architecture completed in the early 900s. The new display replicates as closely as possible the native environment of this under species at extremely high risk of entanglement. Cast iron pillars, larger bamboo, and a dish made with a variety of sparse mosaic sementi have all been installed inside. A full water vat is placed between the rocks to allow the cat to fully immerse himself in peace.

The Owl Area

The goofy species that are observed in the region are designated for nocturnal predators. The new display, which is located next to the giraffe area, is divided into two areas. One of around 36 square metres each for the two species, where they can be viewed peacefully via a large window. A gigantic image of a genuine gull in flight that is approximately 19 metres long, 3 metres high, and an area of 40 metres symbolises the new region.

The Oranguel Area

The orangutan display, which was introduced in March 2014, is distinguished by a large exterior space measuring 320 square metres. With a maximum height of six metres and a cube height of more than one million cubic metres, it is a notable attraction. The exterior area is connected to the interior section by a 14-metre aerial passageway, and a large 15-metre viewing window gives the public a close-up view of the animals. The orange has wooden platforms, ropes, bronchi, and cords available inside the space so they may move around, rest, and position their nests exactly like they would in a natural environment.
