About Vatican Museums
Rome’s most popular tourist destination, Vatican Museum is known for its extensive interior and eye-catching architecture. Building of these museums and sculptures started when the Laocoon group decided to build a museum made of whole marble. During its first 10-20 years, this place was a private property, but now it is considered to be a national historical and heritage place, making it open for all. There is so much to see in this museum that every time you visit, you can see something new. There are various tourist attractions in Rome, but these 460 paintings made by famous artists like Raphael, Leonardo Da Vinci and Caravaggio are a major attraction. Just by taking a 25-minute drive from the city of Rome, you can easily experience the marvels of this under-visited place.
