Jum Island or Phu Island

Based close to Krabi and Ko Lanta Yai, the less known Arabian island Ko Jum, also known as Ko Phu Island, strikes a perfect balance of long stretched sandy beaches, splendid sun, thinning crowds and laid back relaxing ambience. The silky coral sand and the transparent aquamarine water encircle the west coast of Jum islands. Though some areas are a little rocky but the best part is there are plenty of swimmable patches. The wide beeches beautified by casuarinas trees are an ideal location for all who love the peacefulness and the music of nature and seeks to find solace away from the party crowd.

There are quite a few budgeted hotels and upscale resorts with all essential facilities that guarantee a good and relaxing holiday experience. During peak season, there are regular boats to Krabi town and all the popular locations and islands around.
