What Makes Dubai Package Prices Go Up or Down

The cost of a Dubai trip can vary depending on factors like the travel season, flight prices, booking time, and hotel location. Understanding these factors can help you plan a Dubai holiday that fits your budget without missing out on key experiences.

  1. Seasonal Demand: Dubai sees the highest number of visitors between November and March, when temperatures are pleasant, usually ranging between 20°C and 28°C. During this peak season, flight and hotel prices can be 40–60% higher due to increased demand. For a more budget-friendly trip, consider travelling in April, September, or October, when prices are lower, and the weather is still comfortable.
  2. Global Events and Holidays: Major events and holiday periods can significantly impact Dubai package prices. During Christmas and New Year, travel costs are at their highest, with prices often doubling in the last week of December. Eid and Diwali holidays also lead to increased demand, resulting in higher flight fares from cities like Pune.
  3. Flight Fares: Flights usually account for a large portion of your Dubai trip budget, often 40% or more of the total cost. Booking your flights early can help you secure better fares, while last-minute bookings are generally much more expensive.
  4. Hotel Location: Where you stay in Dubai can make a big difference to your overall trip cost. Hotels in premium areas such as Downtown Dubai, Dubai Marina, and Palm Jumeirah are usually more expensive. Choosing accommodation in areas like Deira or Bur Dubai, which are just 15–20 minutes away from major attractions, can help reduce your hotel expenses.

How to Reach Dubai from Pune

IndiGo

  • Daily direct flights (6E series) from Pune (PNQ) to Dubai (DXB)

  • Round-trip fares typically range from INR 24,000 to INR 45,000, depending on travel dates, season, and fuel prices
  • Offers the highest number of flights on this route
  • A great option for last-minute bookings
  • No layovers

Air Arabia

  • Operates direct flights from Pune to Sharjah International Airport (SHJ)
  • Sharjah is around a 35-minute drive from Dubai
  • Flight duration: approximately 3 to 4 hours
  • Round-trip fares generally range from INR 15,000 to INR 25,000
  • One of the most budget-friendly options
  • For the best fares, book 6 to 8 weeks in advance

SpiceJet

  • Operates 7 direct flights per week from Pune to Dubai
  • Fastest flight duration: approximately 3 hours 25 minutes
  • Allows up to 30 kg of checked baggage
  • Frequently offers promotional discounts, with savings of up to 30–50%
  • Checking fare comparison websites such as Skyscanner before booking can help secure better prices

Air India

  • Round-trip fares range from INR 33,000 to INR 51,000
  • Offers both direct and connecting flight options
  • If your flight connects through Delhi, you typically do not need to collect and re-check your luggage
  • Suitable for travellers looking for flexible flight schedules

Booking Tips

Based on current route trends, IndiGo and Air Arabia are the best budget-friendly options for travellers from Pune. Flight prices increase significantly during the peak travel season, especially in December and January, so it is recommended to book at least 78 days in advance for better fares.

Best Time to Visit Dubai from Pune

Dubai has unique travel seasons, each suited to a different type of traveller. Here is a month-by-month breakdown to help you plan.

November to March: Peak Season

Temperatures: 14°C to 30°C

This is the most popular time to visit Dubai. The mild winter climate is perfect for outdoor activities, desert safaris, beach walks, and visiting attractions like the Global Village and the Miracle Garden. December is the busiest and most expensive month, as hotels and flights can cost 40–60% more than usual, but it is worth it for the New Year's Eve fireworks at Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Shopping Festival.

April: Shoulder Season

Temperatures: 26°C to 36°C

April offers a good balance between pleasant weather and lower travel costs. Outdoor attractions remain open, making it a great time for sightseeing, while hotel and flight prices are generally lower than during the peak season. Morning desert safaris are recommended to avoid the afternoon heat.

May to September: Summer

Temperatures: Up to 40°C and above

Outdoor activities are not recommended due to the extreme heat and humidity. However, June and August are the best months for budget travellers, as they can expect up to 70% off on hotel deals and significantly lower flight prices. Most indoor attractions, malls, and theme parks remain fully operational.

October: Shoulder Season

As temperatures begin to cool, October offers more comfortable weather for sightseeing and outdoor activities. Prices are still reasonable before the peak season starts, making it a good time for last-minute bookings.

Group tour to Dubai Abu Dhabi with people from Bhopal pehle darr tha ki strangers ke saath kaisa lagega but actually itna accha tha, sab bahut friendly nikle. Guide ne group ko ek saath rakhte hue har ek ki preference bhi poori ki. Atlantis group dinner was a lovely bonding experience. Dubai Frame visit mujhe personally bahut pasand aaya, old Dubai ek taraf naya Dubai dusri taraf, kya view hai. Dobara group trip isi agency ke saath karenge.

e booked our Dubai trip with Thrillophilia, and they covered all the major attractions like Burj Khalifa, Palm Jumeirah, Gold Souk, desert safari, and dhow cruise. Every day felt fresh with something new, so there was no monotony. The Gold Souk was especially impressive nothing like what we’ve seen in Bhopal. We also appreciated having one free afternoon to relax at a mall. There was a small issue with checkout timing on the last day, but the hotel resolved it quickly.

is Dubai trip truly felt like stepping into a different world for us from Bhopal. Everything was thoughtfully planned from the dhow cruise dinner on the creek to the private desert sunset and a beautiful rooftop restaurant in Downtown. The small touches like rose petals and chocolates in the room made it even more special. My partner loved the experience so much that now they trust me completely with planning future trips. Truly an amazing and memorable experience with Thrillophilia.

Bhopal se Dubai pehli baar jaana tha, socha tha shayad manage nahi hoga akelein but package ne ek bhi baar kuch sochne ka mauka nahi diya. Burj Khalifa top floor at sunset was the kind of moment you tell people about for years. Wazwan dinner was replaced here by an Arabic mezze spread which was genuinely fantastic. One of the most unexpected highlights of the Dubai trip was Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood it had a completely different charm compared to the shiny side of Dubai. The abra boat ride across the creek for just 1 AED was simple yet very memorable. The local restaurant included in the itinerary served some of the best hummus I’ve ever had. The guide was knowledgeable and spoke good Hindi, which really helped our group. I only wish we had more time at the Spice Souk, but overall it was a solid experience.

Bhopal se Dubai ka safar ekdam 'shandaar' raha! Thrillophilia handled everything from the visa to the desert safari. Humne socha tha ki online booking mein shayad dikkat aaye, par team ne ek-ek document sahi se guide kiya. Burj Khalifa ke tickets pehle se haath mein the, toh lambi line ka koi chakkar hi nahi tha.
