Dubai Creek Tower

Firstly, it was estimated that the tower would be a hundred meters taller than the magnificent skyscraper Burj Khalifa, meaning it would be nine hundred and twenty-eight meters tall. But later, it was confirmed that its height would be at least thirteen hundred meters. The Dubai Creek Harbour will be a new district in Dubai, and its centerpiece will be the Creek Tower. 

This district will cover around six square kilometers, which is about four times the size of the world-famous complex named Downtown Dubai. This record-breaking structure is expected to have ten observation decks offering three sixty-degree views of Dubai's cityscape. The design of the tower is inspired by an Islamic minaret and the lily flower. Its cables will be similar to the ribbing of the lily leaves, and it will be tethered to the ground. 

Dubai Creek has a significant position in the city's history and culture and will continue to do so as many structures and buildings get built around the area. It is being designed by Santiago Calatrava Valls, the Spanish-Swiss architect who has successfully completed some of the best projects like the World Trade Center Transportation Hub, Olympic Athletic Center of Athens, and the Turning Torso. 

The tower has a splendid stem that is meant to function as the backbone, while the oval-shaped sections close to the peak evoke the idea of a lily's bud. These elements together give the Dubai Creek a spectacular appearance. Dubai Creek Tower will have ten oval-shaped observation decks close to the top of the tower. While standing on the creek's observation deck, you can enjoy a splendid view of the city. 

• The inspiration for Dubai Creek's observation deck is the ancient Hanging Gardens of Babylon. This is the reason why the observation decks have been planned to be decorated like a garden.
• Dubai Creek will feature movement lighting and dynamic illumination, which will be a splendid sight to behold even in the darkness.
• There will be VIP Observation Garden Decks that will be reserved for only certain visitors.
• The top of this tower will be shaped like a lily flower bud and will hold around ten observation decks, including the planned Pinnacle Room, offering a splendid view of Dubai.
• The tower's ground-level Plaza will serve as an important neighborhood center with a museum, world-class retail, an indoor auditorium, and various educational facilities.
• The tower will also have two VIP observation garden decks that will recreate the Hanging Gardens of Babylon's splendor. Besides several restaurants, a boutique hotel, and observation decks, the tower will include the World's highest mosque.

March to November is the best time to visit Dubai as the weather remains pleasant and comfortable, and you can enjoy outdoor activities and sightseeing without any hassle. Dubai Shopping Festival and Auto Expo are also organized in the city between February and January.
