With an amalgamation of religious significance and natural beauty, adventure in Karwar is one step ahead of other sports in Karnataka. It is situated very close to the borders of Goa and Maharashtra and is geographically located at the mouth of the River Kali in the state of Karnataka. You can even trek to the Sadashivgad Hill Fort nestled on a hilltop towards the northern bank of River Kali. The amazing views of the Karwar town from atop this hill is overwhelming and exciting. For a more fun escapade, climb up the old lighthouse situated on the Oyster Rock Island. It is one of the oldest lighthouses in India which dates back to the year 1860 and can be accessed from Karwar Port by a machine boat. Oyster Rock Island is also an ideal spot for trying umpteen adventure sports in Karwar.

The fascinating site where River Kali meets the Arabian Sea can be witnessed at Koodi Bagh Beach. Fringed with palm trees and powdery sand, this beach can be the best place to celebrate your solitude and enjoy various water sports.
