St. Paul’S Cathedral Overview

St. Paul’s Cathedral is a large Anglican Cathedral. It may interest you to know that the Cathedral is the mother of the larger Diocese of Kolkata. The church was consecrated in 1697, over three centuries ago.

The Indo-Gothic form of architecture is one of the first things that one notices, in the cathedral. Starting from the doors and windows, everything has an ancient design, that is a marvel in itself. Inside the cathedral lies a throne, which is also one of things that one must see. It is at least 3 centuries old.

Location: Cathedral Rd, Maidan, Kolkata, West Bengal 700071.

Time: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, every day.

Best Time to Visit: Morning hours.
