Rabindra Sarobar is a serene artificial lake and one of the most popular open spaces in South Kolkata. Developed in the 1920s and earlier known as Dhakuria Lake, it was later renamed in honor of Rabindranath Tagore. Spread over a large area, the lake is surrounded by lush greenery, walking tracks, and shaded benches, making it a favorite spot for morning walkers, joggers, and yoga enthusiasts.
