How To Reach

1. By Road: Ta Dzong is located 3.1 kilometres from Paro's city centre. 

2. By Bus: Buses in Paro are an economical way to travel. You can catch a local bus from the city centre, which will drop you close to Ta Dzong. It is a short route, and the bus journey will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes. You will have to walk up the hill from the bus stop, where the attraction is located.

3. By Car: If you prefer a more comfortable mode of transport, hiring a taxi or driving a rented car is an ideal choice. From the centre of Paro town, head north towards the National Museum Road, following signs for Ta Dzong. The drive is short, around 5 to 10 minutes, depending on traffic. There is parking available near the entrance of Ta Dzong.

4. By Bike: Biking to Ta Dzong from anywhere in Paro is also an excellent option. The roads are bike-friendly, and some uphill cycling is required as you approach Ta Dzong. This allows you to enjoy Paro's serene environment at your own pace.

1. Best Day of the Week: Tuesdays to Saturdays are perfect as Ta Dzong is open full-time, from 09:00 a.m. to 04:00 p.m. This is when you will have ample time to explore all the museum floors without the Sunday rush. 

2. Best Time of the Day: Mornings are the best time to visit Ta Dzong. Try to arrive early, around 09:00 a.m., to avoid crowds and fully enjoy the museum's offerings.
