Pokhara Tour Packages

Pokhara is the city of Phewa Lake situated at the centre of Nepal. As it is known as a gateway to the Annapurna Circuit, you may find amazing Pokhara tour packages for your next adventure or a perfect Himalaya trail. If we date back to history Pokhara was an important trading point on the route between India and China and until the late 1960s, this valley was only accessible by foot. Later with the construction of Siddhartha Highway, which now connects the city to Southern Nepal, tourism flourished in the city. Especially the area beside the Phewa Lake is called as Lake Side, which has developed into one of the major tourism hubs of Nepal.

Pokhara is considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world. It is nature’s hidden paradise that possesses nature’s gift of acute beauty and peace. There is a lot of Buddhism influence seen in the temples and in the ancient architecture. With the majestic view of Annapurna, range Pokhara endows the perfect backdrop and tranquillity of lakes. All this make Pokhara the finest destination for a wonderful tour. From Tal Barahi Temple, a 2-story pagoda, which lies on an island in the lake to the eastern shore, the Lakeside district has some good yoga centres and restaurants.

Coming to the south there is an International Mountain Museum that exhibits the winning history of mountaineering and the audacious people of the Himalayas. Forming an impressive backdrop to Pokhara is the theatrical Annapurna Massif. It is the most important part of the emblematic Mt Machhapuchhare. The triangular mass emerges a large over the town image and remains the only virgin mountain in Nepal that is set aside as a forbidden mountain to be climbed.
