Tachogang Lhakhang Bridge is an iron chain bridge built by Drupthob Thangtong Gyalpo and is the access route to the famous Tachogang Lhakhang Dzong. Built in early fifteenth century, the bridge has stood the test of time.
Built on the mighty Paro Chhu River, the bridge offers a small adventurous ride to the Tachogang Lhakhang Dzong amidst the beautiful hilly sight, gushing river water underneath, lush green Paro Valley and the spectacular view of the Dzong above. To visit the Dzong, you must cross this iron bridge. At first you may feel a bit apprehension but walking on the bridge is quite a fun activity.
