The Bathery Jain Temple is believed to have been constructed in the dominant architectural style of the Vijayanagar Dynasty and dates back to the 13th century. This location served as Tipu Sultan's battery setup, and the entire Sulthan Bathery is named in his honor today. This temple is a significant cultural landmark and displays beautiful architecture. This variety suggests multiple periods of habitation throughout history, with the oldest dating back to 6000 B.C., from the Stone Age. Though the exact origin of these engravings is uncertain, some scholars speculate that they may be Neolithic in age.

The museum features stone weapons, carvings, 14th to 16th-century sculptures, Megalithic pottery, hunting equipment, and clay sculptures. It also features idols made of hard and soft rocks, believed to have been worshipped by ancient people.
