Pollok House And Country Park Overview

Pollok House is a grand country home located on the beautiful grounds and gardens of Pollok Country Park. It's a historic property with an Escape Room where you can enjoy cryptic spy games. Pollok Country Park is the only Country Park within Glasgow with extensive gardens and woodlands.

Pollok Country Park is situated southwest of Glasgow City and was formerly part of the Old Park Estate. The park is ideal for mountain biking because it has three bike circuits. One of the galleries you must see in the park is the 'Walk in the Woods.' Venturing further into the park, you'll find many other attractions, including the Pollok House. Pollok House is a grand Edwardian manor where the Maxwell family lived in the ancient era.

Today the gardens and house are open to the public, and you can see here furnishings used by the Maxwell family and a world-class selection of art documenting the Spanish royal family's life. You can also find here an impressive collection that includes pieces by renowned artists like Bartolomé Esteban Murillo and El Greco. Pollok House also houses an Edwardian kitchen restaurant in the old servant's quarters, ideal for afternoon tea.
