Experiential journeys will make you a storyteller
About Taiwan
Taiwan is an island located on a green island. With a legacy as distinct as the spirited traditions and the adventure landscape which are sprawling alongside the cream of the Asian sophistication, Taiwan is a beautiful isle. Known over the centuries as the Ilha Formosa, it is a land that has more sides than the 11-headed Guanyin. Towering the tropical forests, sea cliffs as well as the marble-walled gorges which are a mere start to your journey.

This start could further lead you as far as Yushan which is the alpine roof at a height of 3952 meters. You can criss-cross the mountains on the colonial era hiking trails of Taiwan or cycle a solitary highway with the green volcanic arcs on one side and the blue Pacific on the other. More so, if you are just seeking a classic landscape for you to enjoy, you find the same around every corner of the country.

An heir to the entire Chinese tradition of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, Taiwan has a nebulous collection of demons and deities which are worshipped as part of the folk faith. Over centuries, people here have blended their way into a tolerant and unique religious culture which is often as wild as Santeria and heavy as Catholicism. Together, all this makes Taiwan a great pick for a holiday destination.
