4. Pre-book taxis or cabs one day in advance due to limited availability.

5. After your car is parked, you will need to walk the remaining portion of the path, so it is advised that you wear comfortable shoes for this portion of the trip.   

6. If self-driving, book a cab for the summit due to permit requirements from Darjeeling, which can be challenging to obtain.
