Established in 1899 by British tea planters, this stay is surrounded by bamboo groove, hills covered with Azalea, a forest, the tea factory, and tea gardens. The stay is equipped with 4 rooms with polished wooden floors and moulded ceiling, each with an attached bathroom. The stay itself is the tea planter's bungalow which has been restored to fully reflect its colonial-era heritage. The estate is a 600-acre expanse of land with forests, mountain slopes, streams, waterfalls and tea fields which guests are more than welcome to explore. Guests can go hiking on the tea slopes and interactions with tea pluckers and understand how tea is plucked and sorted. Apart from that, guests can also take a trip to the tea factory, have a rare insight into the manufacturing processes of world-class teas and taste the finest teas of the world such as White, Fist, Second, Autumnal and Flush Darjeeling tea, etc. For more adventurous guests, a bath under a waterfall (May-June) can also be arranged, followed by a picnic. At the stay, guests can simply enjoy reading a book with a special cup of tea from its eclectic collection of books relating to Biography, Buddhism, Gardening,
