LEGOLAND

Situated right next to the original Lego factory, this amusement park is one of the biggest attractions of Denmark. One of the most offbeat places to visit in Denmark, the park consists of several different themed sections, such as Adventure Land, Duplo Land,  Pirate Land, Polar Land, Knight’s Kingdom and Imagination Zone, among several others.

Several rides, both land-based and water-based, can be found scattered across the entire park. The Miniland area in the amusement Park feature’s life sized brick models made entirely out of Lego pieces depicting scenes from popular culture. A number of shows and performances are also held here from time to time. The Park hosts several special events as well, including Halloween events, Star Wars week and more.

Best time to visit: During the warmer months, between May to August, when the weather is ideally suited for outdoor activities.
