Gallerie Dell’Accademia Overview
Renowned for its excellent collection of sculptures and paintings, Gallerie Dell’Accademia is a classic building reserved for housing arts which makes it count among the renowned Places to visit in Venice.

Museum displays splendid sculptures created by renowned Renaissance artist Michelangelo which includes ‘Prisoners’ or ‘Slaves,’ ‘St. Matthew,’ and ‘David within the Tribune’ and some spectacular paintings by artists like Sandro Botticelli, Domenico Ghirlandaio, Pontormo, Andrea Del Sarto, Allessando ALlori and Orcagna.

Besides all these, there is a newly established section which houses the display of the various musical instruments and unique wonders by Stradivari and Bartolomeo Cristofori.
