4. Theppakadu Elephant Camping –

There are regular elephant training sessions organised here where the elephants are trained under professional elephant trainer. An elephant safari here would cost you around 1100 INR per trip for the Indian nationals and 11,600 INR per trip for the foreign nationals. 

5. Ooty Botanical Gardens – 
Located one hour drive away from the town of the Masinagudi, the Ooty Botanical Gardens is yet another popular tourist spot of Tamil Nadu. The scaling lawns stretched across a land stretch of 56 acres features freshly blooming flowers and creates a colourful ambience to adore.

As the tickets for the safari are sold on first come first serve basis, you need to rush before the tickets are finally sold out. 

3. Stroll along the Moyar River – 
For all those who are wandering here and there at the Masinagudi in search of tranquillity, may seek their peaceful time on the banks of the Moyar River. This river originates from the town of Moyar, cascades down and then separates the Bandipur National Park from the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve.

The place where the river cascades down is famous as the Moyar Falls and to gain access to this place, you need to obtain permission from the Forest Department there.

Stunning place!! It was a perfect place to chill with my friends. we went there for a break from work and it was trully awesome. the stay is really comforatble and beautiful surrounded by forest everywhere. they also had a nice pool to chill out. we had a perfect weekend.

I have been to this resort with my friends. It was such a beautiful place and awesome stay that we extended our stay by 2 more days! Owing to the location of the resort, I think they provide the best of facilities available. It is a great hide out from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Masinagudi is a beautiful place and this nature stay was an okay experience for me. May be 'i expected a lot from the type of services that we were promised but what we got was a very basic experience. A good experience could have been better.
