Monument To Minin And Pozharsky Overview
The Monument to Minin and Pozharsky by sculptor Ivan Petrovich Martos was opened on February 20, 1818, after the Patriotic War of 1812 and Napoleon’s expulsion from Moscow in the presence of the Emperor and Empress. The monument is one of the most symbolic and best known monuments that has connection with two national heroes and  liberators.
