About Tsaritsyno Museum Reserve

Tsaritsyno is a park and museum complex in southern Moscow and is one of the largest reserves of the city. Construction began in 1775 under the supervision of architect V. I. Bazhenov, it was conceived as a personal country residence of Empress Catherine II.
