NATIONAL TAICHUNG THEATER

The National Taichung Theater is one of the most elegant places to visit in Taichung. Established in September 2016, the Theatre is the seal of performing arts in Taiwan and a marvelous architectural landmark in the country. This massive 6-storey building features three theatres with varying capacities - a 2009 seat theatre with an opera stage, a playhouse with 800 seats and black box with 200 seats.

The structure has several unique features such as irregularly shaped entrances, a large yet calm central foyer with small corridors that lead to the grand theatre. Other facilities include a restaurant, a roof terrace and large wide spaces for rehearsals.
