Ghanta Ghar Overview

The Clock Tower of Rajasthan, or Ghanta Ghar is located near the main Sardar Market in Jodhpur. It is a historical landmark built by Maharaja Sardar Singh. The 70-foot tower, built in the 19th century, was the only way locals could track time in the past. The tower is built of red sandstone, typical of Jodhpur's architecture. It features clocks on all four sides and intricate carvings in the traditional Rajput style.
