How To Reach

  • By Road: Konak Pier is located 1.4 kilometres from İzmir city centre.
  • By Bus: The city’s extensive bus network includes services to Konak. Buses 18, 70, and 302 all stop close to Konak Pier. The journey from the İzmir bus station takes around 10 to 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Konak bus stop, a short 5-minute walk will bring you to the entrance of Konak Pier.
  • By Car: When driving from the city centre, head east towards 9 Eylül Meydanı toward Anafartalar Cd. Then, take the Gazi Boulevard and follow the signs towards Atatürk Cd. Konak Pier is just off this boulevard, and parking is available on-site. Depending on traffic, the journey from the central neighbourhoods of Izmir to the pier is usually around 10 to 15 minutes.
  • By Metro (Izban): The Izmir metro system, known as Izban, is the best way to travel around the city. You can take the Izban metro and get off at the Konak station to reach Konak Pier. The Konak station is located right next to the Konak Pier complex.
  • On Foot: If you are already in the İzmir city centre, you can also reach Konak Pier on foot. The pier is located between the Izmir Clock Tower and Konak Square. This 1.2-kilometre distance takes around 20 to 30 minutes. 
  • By Ferry: Izmir’s ferry system is a convenient way to travel across the Bay of Izmir. If you are coming from Karşıyaka or Bostanlı, ferries dock at the Konak Ferry Terminal, about 600 metres away from Konak Pier. The ferry ride takes around 20 minutes and offers scenic city views. Once at the terminal, a short walk will lead you to Konak Pier.
