The three popular caves in Tam Coc are Ca Cave (the largest cave), Hai Cave (the second largest cave) and Ba Cave (the smallest cave). You can either book a group tour or rent a private boat to explore these caves in Tam Coc. You can also explore the Thien Huong Cave which is referred to as the ‘Heaven Cave’ by the locals. It is mainly a shrine dedicated to Tran Thi Dung, founder of the Tran Dynasty. Another cave that you can visit is the Tien Cave or the Fairy Cave. The popular boat ride in Tam Coc is a 2-hour journey, covering approximately 3 km. The boat takes you through the lush green rice fields and giant mountains to explore the three caves; Ca Cave, Hai Cave and Ba Cave. During your boat ride, you will also get to see some vendors selling snacks, juices and water bottles on the boat. You can even ask the boatman to stop at your preferred location to take pictures and videos.
