L’Union Estate Farm Overview
Now a national heritage site, L’Union Estate Farm is one of the most widely regarded places to visit in La Digue, Seychelles. Once the dwelling place of a Mauritian family, the farm stands as the island’s biggest and greatest example of French architecture.

The estate is home to gorgeous coconut and palm plantations which can be toured on foot. A couple of giant Aldabra tortoises live here as well, which tourists can interact with at close hand. A colonial era graveyard stands at a distance, paying homage to all those lost in the farm. Several walking tours are organized here as well, for those interested in exploring the farm at greater detail.
