    Museum of Islamic Art


    Designed by noted architect I.M. Pei, Museum of Islamic art is one of the most famous tourist places in Doha. This iconic museum is located at the Corniche in the Qatari capital Doha. Behind the museum, there is a 290,000 m² park whereas inside the 5-storey museum you can find a gift shop, a library, classrooms, a 200-seat theatre and even prayer rooms.     Al Zubara Fort


    A historic Qatari military fortress built under the reign of Sheikh Abdullah bin Qassim Al Than, Al Zubara Fort is one of the largest and best preserved fortress of 19th century merchant town in the Gulf. The fort is situated in the town of Al Zubarah. Some say that it was built to serve as a police station but it was only later that it was renovated to a museum to showcase diverse exhibits and artworks. It is considered as one of the most important archaeological site in Qatar.
