Open Hand Museum Overview

A grand gesture and a reminder for many, the Open hand monument in Chandigarh was designed to represent "the hand to give and the hand to take; peace and prosperity, and the unity of mankind". Birthed by the great architect, Le Corbusier, the hand stands at an alarming 26 meters tall and weighs close to 50 tons. It's design also allows it to rotate with the wind. Living as pride for many localities, the Open Hand is one place you mustn't miss to visit.
