Bilpakeshwar Temple Overview

Constructed during the 10th century AD, the Bilpakeshwar Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is one of the highly-rated Ratlam tourist places and has inherited the culture of the erstwhile rulers and their dynasties over decades. The temple is of religious importance to the followers of Hinduism as Lord Shiva is worshipped here. 

The structure, which exemplifies the Panchayatana style of architecture, has stood eternally tall against all odds and is a symbol of resilience. It is also an acclaimed temple that has been named as a protected monument in Madhya Pradesh. History buffs must visit this temple as it is a masterpiece of the Gurjara-Chalukyan style of construction, which can be seen in the Paramara temples.
