Visa Requirements

A short-term Schengen visa that is good for 90 days is what you will need to visit Stockholm. You may already know that a Schengen visa can be used in any European country that is a part of the Schengen Agreement.

You can visit and stay in Stockholm, Sweden's main city if you have a Schengen visa. For visa applications, the Embassy of Sweden is in charge and will decide if you can get a visa or not. However, VFS Global is in charge of receiving applications.

This means that you will go to an Indian VFS office and hand in your application. You can drop off your visa form at VFS Global without making an appointment once you're done with it. Next, you pay the visa fee, which is INR 12879 for people, INR 11079 for kids 6 to 12 years old, and INR 8579 for kids younger than 6 years old.

There is also a service charge of INR 1639 added to these prices. The majority of applications for a Stockholm visit visa are handled within 14 days of being received and passed. A visit visa for Stockholm, however, can be applied for up to 6 months before your trip.
