Lausanne, the capital city of the canton of Vaud, lies on the edge of Lake Geneva. It extends from Lavaux to La Cote. The city was established by Romans and their imprints can be seen everywhere- in its culture, monuments, and food. Lausanne is inhabited mostly by students and young people, and that’s reflected in the verve of the city.
