Established back in 1971, Walt Disney World happens to be one of the most family-friendly places to go in Orlando. You can also visit the dolphin nursery that houses and takes care of the young dolphins in the park. Visitors can also enjoy a myriad of mind-boggling water rides and roller coasters, the most popular amongst which are the Kraken Virtual Reality Coaster, the Manta Coaster, and Mako hyper coaster. Discover Antarctica's ecosystem and encounter hundreds of penguins. Enjoy lunch with orca whales or visit the Jewel of the Sea Aquarium, which houses millions of beautiful species. The park also hosts mesmerizing fireworks displays on every Friday and Saturday nights.

Universal Orlando features a total of three parks, namely Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay. The Universal Studios Florida is home to a theme park and a working studio that offers visitors a glimpse into the work that goes on in the filmmaking industry. This park is packed with a series of wet rides and exhilarating roller coasters. Islands of Adventure is a conglomeration of 8 distinctly themed islands, namely Marvel Superhero Island, The Lost Continent, Jurassic Park, Seuss Island, Toon Lagoon, and Skull Island: Reign of Kong. The newest addition to Universal Orlando is the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which offers visitors a glimpse into the dreamy world built by the legendary author J.K. Rowling. There is also a vast entertainment district here, known as City Walk, which houses a myriad of posh shopping destinations, restaurants, and theaters.

NASA’s Kennedy Space Centre offers visitors a lifetime’s worth of opportunity to see some of its iconic operation centers. One of the main attractions of this place is the Heroes and Legends exhibits that lets visitors learn about the lives and works of legendary space scientists, explorers, engineers, and astronauts. Another primary attraction is the Rocket Garden, which is home to some of the iconic flights of NASA like the Apollo and Gemini space programs. The Space Shuttle Atlantis is also an important highlight of this place with more than 60 exhibits offering important details about it and the program. Some of the other popular exhibits which you’ll come across here include lunar exploration, the IMAX theater, and the shuttle launch experience.

Spread across a vast area of a whopping 35,000 square feet, Wonderworks is a famous amusement park that offers an awe-inspiring amalgamation of education and entertainment. This place is home to more than 100 interactive and interesting exhibits that challenge the mind and motivate visitors to think out-of-the-box. The entire building of Wonderworks was originally a secret laboratory located in the Bermuda triangle. As a consequence of a failed experiment, the entire building was lifted to the International Drive and has been in an upside down position since then. You can watch movies such as Dino Safari, Canyon Coaster, and Wild West Mine in this extreme motion simulator thrill ride with 4D XD Motion Theater experience! One can also take part in Glow-In-The-Dark Ropes Course and climb up to a height of 36 feet while overcoming more than 20 unique challenges.

Harry P. Leu Botanic Garden was established by Mr. and Mrs. Harry P. Leu, after purchasing the property from the early pioneers in 1836. Spanning across an area of whopping 50 acres, this peaceful and serene oasis is home to colorful gardens, lush forests, charming nature trails, and sparkling lakes. This botanical garden features many species of plants including bamboo, aroids, roses, hibiscus, citrus, azaleas, ferns, more than 240 varieties of camellias, and huge oak trees dating back to some 200 years. Various events and functions including movie nights, storytelling programs, and live jazz are hosted at the Harry P. Leu Botanic Garden from time to time for the entertainment of visitors.

Located on the International Drive and spread across a vast area of a whopping 20 acres, ICON Park is a bustling entertainment district in Orlando. Packed with open-air shopping destinations, elegant dining options, and many other exciting attractions, this place is a perfect hideout for leisure and fun seekers. One of the main attractions of this park is the 400 feet tall ferris wheel, known as Orlando Eye, which offers sweeping views of the city. Other highlights of the ICON Park include the world’s tallest swing ride, the Orlando StarFlyer, Madame Tussauds Orlando, and SeaLife Orlando Aquarium. There is also an excellent attraction for children, known as the Pearl Express, which takes them on a fun ride around the entire park.

Located in downtown Orlando, Lake Eola Park is an oasis of serenity and relaxation amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. Opened to the public back in 1888, this park features an enormous lush green space that offers visitors a plethora of fun activities to engage in. Visitors can take a stroll around the lake, enjoy a swan-shaped paddle-boat ride on the lake, or attend a live music performance at the Walt Disney Amphitheatre. Guests can also carry their own food and enjoy a cozy picnic lunch or dine in at one of the many elegant restaurants here.
