How To Reach

By Road: The Pyramids of Giza are located about 18.8 kilometres from Cairo city centre. You can take a taxi, or a private car or use ride-sharing services for a direct route to the Pyramids. The journey takes about 30 to 40 minutes. For a more authentic experience, you might also consider hiring a horse-drawn carriage from certain parts of Cairo, such as Giza, Nasr City, Miraj, etc. 

By Metro and Bus: While there's no direct metro line to the Pyramids, you can use the Cairo Metro Line 1 (red line) to reach the Giza station. It is located 10.6 kilometres from the Pyramids. From there, you can catch a microbus or a local bus heading towards the Pyramids. The bus ride will take around 20 minutes.

4. Cameras are not allowed inside the pyramids, so it is better to store them safely at the entrance.
