Despite artificial palaces created by a man, this place is not at all filled with only forts and palaces. It has lakes, Kunds and many natural things. Nature has also contributed to the beauty of this place.

To see its contribution one must go to this place once. Chaurasi Khambon ki Chhatri, Bundi or Eighty-four pillared cenotaphs is the attractive place. It has 84 pillars which make a cenotaph. JaitSagar Lake, Phool Sagar, Kshar Bagh etc are some of the tourist places of the city. The Nagar Sagar twin step wells, Dabhai Kund also known as the jail kind, which has spectacular carvings on the numerous steps, the Sukh Mahal which is a cream-colored palace sits on the water bank. All that makes people mesmerized throughout the city.

A person goes alone but comes back with many memories. He gets attached to this place which is very religious, historic and traditional. This place can be included in the tourist places in Bundi since it has on offering not only for nature lovers but also for bibliophiles.

Rudyard Kipling is supposed to have seated here and this place has been the basis of inspiration for many of his works. He wrote ‘Kim’ after staying here for some time.
