About Ta prohmBuilt in traditional Khmer style, Ta Prohm is one of the most scenic temples in Angkor region in Cambodia as it has a canopy of trees and jungles around it. This became one of the Buddhist monasteries in Cambodia, thanks to the efforts of King Jayavarman VII.
Highlights – One of the features that attracts viewers about Ta Prohm is that it is found in the same way as it was constructed during the 12th century, whereas most of the other temples in its vicinity have been reduced to mere architectural ruins today. During 1992, this temple was declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Location – The temple can be found at just about 1km from Angkor Thom on the southern part of East Baray.
Timings – 5AM to 6PM every day.
