About Skeleton Coast

Skeleton Coast is a place with loads of historical significance that date back to almost centuries ago. As per beliefs and legends, it was believed that sailing across the national park coast was dangerous, so for that reason there is a very scarce population in few villages only.

Tourists love to visit this place to visit the famous Cape Cross Seal Reserve, which is the very first place that the first European landed in the 15th century.

Location: Northern part of the Atlantic coast of Namibia and south of Angola from the Kunene River south to the Swakop River
